“A person’s name is to him or her the sweetest & most important sound in any language” – Dale Carnegie 2014
A naming ceremony is similar to a baptism or christening in some ways, however it is not a church ceremony. You can still appoint guardians, mentors or other supporting adults to play an important role in your child’s life.
A naming ceremony can also be held for an older child.
Names are part of every culture in the world and are both important to the person receiving the name and the giver of the name(s).
Regardless of when, who or how often it happens, the giving and receiving of a name is an event of major importance.
